Don’t ask me how it’s on youtube already, but I have for you a track from of Montreal’s (our ARTIST OF THE WEEK’s) new album, Paralytic Stalks!

This week, we added one of their coolest songs, well, in my opinion, “We Will Commit Wolf Murder.” I mean, with a name like that, it’s really hard NOT to be a cool song.

But anyway, yeah. of Montreal is our artist of the week, which is fantastic because, really, they’re beyond fantastic and Paralytic Stalks? SUCH a good album. You should all go out and get it when it’s released, February 7th.

Fun of Montreal facts:

• They formed in 1996, brought together by Kevin Barnes, the lead singer.
• “of Montreal” is the name of the band, allegedly, after a failed romance with a woman “of Montreal.” (lolz.)
• Every member of the band has at least one side project that they’re a part of.
• There have been about a million member switches in the band’s history. (seriously, about sixteen members, past and present, are listed on wikipedia… what.)

Yeah. That’s it. They also frequently wear really cool pants, kind of like LMFAO, but I think they did it first… #hipsters

I’d give you some fun facts, but all you really need to know is that this sounds good, we added it, they’re Australian. That is TWO Australian groups we’ve added this week — name me another station that’s done THAT for you! I thought so.

Anyway,

come to Radio Rush Night on Thursday in Park Auditorium at 7pm and you’ll be able to tell your friends that YOU brought two cool new Australian bands into their lives. And you’ll officially be the coolest you can be.

I know for a while, we were without new music, or really music at all. BUT FEAR NOT. This week we added FIVE songs, including this one!

We should all appreciate Local Natives more than we do right now. In my personal opinion. What bands do you think we should appreciate more? I’ll post them!
